そもそもSummerlinとはWhat is Summerlin?
ヘンダーソンが「南東の住みやすい街」なら、サマリン（Summerlin）は「西の高級計画都市」です。ラスベガス盆地の西端、Red Rock Canyonの麓に広がる大規模マスタープラン・コミュニティで、緑地とトレイル、良い学校、そしてDowntown Summerlinという屋外型のショッピング・飲食地区を抱えています。家賃や住宅価格は市内でも高めですが、そのぶん街並みと治安、暮らしやすさで選ばれるエリアです。If Henderson is "the livable town in the southeast," Summerlin is "the upscale master-planned community in the west." Spread along the valley's western edge at the foot of Red Rock Canyon, it offers green space and trails, strong schools, and Downtown Summerlin — an open-air shopping and dining district. Rents and home prices run higher than the city average, but people choose it for the streetscape, safety, and quality of life.
日本食の観点で見ると、サマリンはチャイナタウンのような密集地ではありません。かわりに、Downtown Summerlinの新しい名店と、Boca ParkやRed Rock周辺に点在する寿司・居酒屋が「近所で日本食」を支えています。専門的な食材の買い出しはチャイナタウンへ、日常の外食は地元で——という西サイドならではの回し方があります。For Japanese food, Summerlin isn't a dense hub like Chinatown. Instead, newer standouts in Downtown Summerlin and sushi and izakaya scattered around Boca Park and Red Rock keep "Japanese food close to home" within reach. Stock up on specialty ingredients in Chinatown, eat out locally — that's the west-side rhythm.
そして注意をひとつ。Spring Valleyの日本食は、その多くがSpring Mountain回廊（チャイナタウン）に集まっています。西サイドに住む人も、食材と名店はまずチャイナタウンのガイドを見てください。ここでは、それ以外の「サマリン側で完結する日本食」を集めました。One note: most of Spring Valley's Japanese food is concentrated along the Spring Mountain corridor (Chinatown). Even if you live on the west side, start with the Chinatown guide for ingredients and top restaurants. Here, we've gathered the Japanese food that stands on its own on the Summerlin side.

サンフランシスコ発の人気店が、2026年2月にDowntown Summerlinへ。看板は14時間以上炊いた濃厚な博多式豚骨で、串焼き（kushiyaki）や鶏白湯、唐揚げも揃う本格派。屋外パティオに焚き火席もあり、西サイドで「まず一杯」といえばここが新しい起点になりました。日本の豚骨をそのまま探している人に、いちばん薦めやすい一軒です。This San Francisco favorite arrived in Downtown Summerlin in February 2026. The signature is a rich Hakata-style tonkotsu simmered over 14 hours, alongside grilled kushiyaki skewers, chicken paitan, and karaage. There's an outdoor patio with firepit seating, and it has quickly become the west side's go-to "first bowl." If you're looking for real Japanese tonkotsu, this is the easiest recommendation.

Red Rockカジノ内の高級寿司。鮮魚を定期的に空輸し、丁寧な仕事と盛り付けで西サイドの一段上を担います。特別な夜や、しっかりした握りを食べたいときに。予約推奨。Upscale sushi inside Red Rock Casino. Fish is flown in regularly, and the careful preparation and plating set the bar on the west side. For a special night or when you want serious nigiri. Reservations recommended.

It's in the same district as Marufuku, so it's easy to stop by while shopping or catching a movie.

Matcha lattes and parfaits, warabi mochi, and matcha-forward sweets, plus light meals like udon and rice bowls. A calm Japanese-café setting that works as the "one more stop" for dessert after ramen or sushi. Good with kids, or when you want a break that isn't coffee.
買う 日本の食材Shop ─ Japanese groceries
西サイドの一手West-side optionサマリンには大型の日本スーパーはありません。西サイドで日常の日本食材をつなぐ一軒と、本格的な買い出しの導線を。Summerlin has no large Japanese supermarket. Here's the one spot that covers everyday needs on the west side, plus where to go for a real stock-up.

西サイド（The Lakes／Village Center周辺）で、日本の食材と握りの両方が手に入る一軒。大型スーパーほどの品揃えではありませんが、「今日の分をチャイナタウンまで行かずに」という日常使いに向きます。On the west side (around The Lakes / Village Center), a spot where you can pick up both Japanese groceries and fresh nigiri. The selection isn't as broad as a big supermarket, but it's ideal for grabbing what you need today without driving to Chinatown.
暮らし方・歩き方Living here & getting around
Downtown Summerlinが中心。Downtown Summerlin is the hub.屋外モール型のDowntown Summerlin（Festival Plaza Dr周辺）に、Marufuku・Sushi Locaをはじめ飲食が集まります。駐車は広く無料で、買い物・映画・食事を一度に回せるのが西サイドの強み。家族連れやベビーカーでもストレスが少ない。The open-air Downtown Summerlin (around Festival Plaza Dr) gathers dining like Marufuku and Sushi Loca. Parking is ample and free, and you can combine shopping, a movie, and a meal in one trip — the west side's strength. Easy with kids and strollers, too.
チャイナタウンまで車で20〜25分。Chinatown is a 20–25 minute drive.「専門的な食材と名店（Raku・Kabuto・食材スーパー）はチャイナタウン、日常の外食はサマリン」と役割で分けると生活が回ります。Spring Valleyの日本食も実質チャイナタウン回廊なので、第2回ガイドと合わせて読むのがおすすめ。Split the roles — "specialty ingredients and destination restaurants (Raku, Kabuto, grocery supermarkets) in Chinatown; everyday dining in Summerlin" — and life runs smoothly. Spring Valley's Japanese food is essentially the Chinatown corridor, so read this alongside the Chinatown Guide (#2).
高級エリアゆえの家賃。Upscale means higher rent.サマリンはSummerlin・Red Rock麓の計画都市で、街並みと学区・治安に対して家賃・住宅価格は市内より高め（相場は読みものの賃貸シリーズで詳しく）。見栄えと環境を優先する家庭が、そのプレミアムを払って選ぶエリアです。Summerlin is a planned community at the foot of Red Rock, and its streetscape, schools, and safety come with rents and home prices above the city average (see the rental series in Reads for figures). It's the area families choose when they'll pay a premium for looks and environment.
